These are the first pictures of the Torres de Hercules, a new project in the Andalusia region of Spain by architect Rafael de la Hoz. The two towers, which are joined by a glazed walkway, rise out of pools of water to a height of 126m. The 20 storeys will contain offices, bank branches, travel agents and a restuarant on the top floor with stunning panoramic views of theStraight of Gibraltar. The bold facade contains the letters of local legend ‘Non Plus Ultra’ (Nothing Further Beyond). The ‘latticing’ extends above the top storey, protecting a roof terrace.
